Gary Walrath

Chief Executive Officer

Gary Walrath joined STATS in 2003. Mr. Walrath serves as Chief Executive Officer of the company and is responsible for extending STATS' partnerships and spearheading growth in key business segments, including television, print, wireless applications, interactive media platforms and fantasy sports. He also will direct the exploration of new initiatives in relevant international markets.

Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of Operations for the STAR Group, a Hong Kong-based wholly owned subsidiary of News Corporation, with extensive television and media interests extending from the Middle East through India, China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. At various times, he was responsible for digital broadcast operations, satellite uplink, internet initiatives, IT, finance, human resources, customer service, facilities and administration.

Steve Byrd

Co-Chief Operating Officer

Steve Byrd has been with STATS since 1997. He originally served as Vice President of Marketing for the company, then became Vice President of the STATS Fantasy Sports, Publishing & Television Business Units. Mr. Byrd’s responsibilities include sales, marketing, business development and managing STATS’ relationship with their many league and sport federation partners across the globe.

Mr. Byrd is on the Board of Directors of Data Stadium in Tokyo Japan and was a founding board member of the Fantasy Sports Association (FSA). Mr. Byrd is a frequent guest speaker and panel member at leading digital media and sports business conferences across the USA and in both Europe and Asia.

Mr. Byrd has been in the sports industry for over 20 years. Previous to STATS, he served in senior marketing, sales management and business development positions at Wilson Sporting Goods, AMF Bowling & Billiards and Sports Sciences. Mr. Byrd has an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago and a BSME with Highest Distinction from Purdue University.

Robert L. Schur

Co-Chief Operating Officer

Robert Schur has been with STATS since 2000. Mr. Schur serves as Senior Vice President of the company, and is in charge of STATS' Commercial Unit and the Data Collection Business Unit, as well as legal oversight for the company.

Prior to joining STATS, Mr. Schur was Vice President of Development for Senior Lifestyle Corporation, an owner/operator of seniors housing headquartered in Chicago. In this role, he was responsible for managing the the company’s new product development process throughout the U.S. Mr. Schur has also acted as a business consultant for a wide array of companies, including technology-based organizations. In addition to his managerial experience, Mr. Schur's background includes extensive financial management and acquisition oversight.

He holds a BA from Indiana University, an MBA from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the IIT-Kent College of Law. Mr. Schur is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Brian Kopp

Senior Vice President, Sports Solutions

Brian Kopp joined STATS in 2008 as the head of Strategic Planning and Development. In this role, Mr. Kopp is responsible for the company's global strategy which includes new business initiatives and new product development. He also leads and participates in various corporate development transactions such as acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kopp has held strategy and development positions for a variety of growth-oriented companies. Most recently he served as Senior Director of Strategic Planning for Career Education, one of the world's largest for-profit education companies. Previously he was Manager of Corporate Development for NAVTEQ Corporation, the world's leading digital map data provider. Mr. Kopp began his career in private equity with Svoboda, Collins LLC and investment banking with Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Kopp received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his BA in Economics from Wabash College.
